In this transformative workshop, participants embark on a guided exploration of their personal socialization from birth to age 12.
Together, we unpack the subtle and overt messages absorbed around race, class, gender, education, religion, and family systems. Messages that have quietly shaped your worldview.
Through deep reflection, storytelling, and interactive exercises, you will begin to earn your own P.H.D. — Personal History Development -- by examining the foundational people, places, and institutions that influenced your identity.
This process empowers you to recognize how your beliefs, values, biases, and behaviors were formed—and gives you the clarity to decide what still serves you and what you’re ready to unlearn.
Whether you're new to self-reflection or well into your healing journey, this workshop offers a powerful space to reconnect with your authentic self—and better understand the social forces that helped shape who you are today.

At The Academy of I Am: Wisdom and Wellness, our Plant Medicine & Mindfulness Program helps youth and families reconnect with the Earth, their bodies, and their inner wisdom.
Blending ancient herbal knowledge with mindful practices, this program teaches the healing power of plants, breath, and presence.
Participants will:
- Learn the uses of herbs, flowers, and roots
- Create simple remedies and rituals
- Practice breath work and grounding techniques
- Explore emotional healing through nature
This is more than a class—it’s a return to wholeness. In every leaf, breath, and moment of stillness, we remember:
